SC Resources on Aging
A visitor to my website brought “Programs and Initiatives“ by the SC Department of Aging to my attention and I wanted to bring it to yours. For those looking for Programs and Initiative for the aging, resources for caregivers and information about Alzheimer’s, I highly recommend that you check it out.
GetCareSC.com
In 2017, the South Carolina Department on Aging launched GetCareSC.com, a website dedicated to matching seniors with available resources. Seniors, caregivers, and adults with disabilities can use their zip code to search our database to find transportation, day care, meals, and in-home care in their respective areas.
If you can’t find what you’re looking for at GetCareSC.com, or you’d rather talk to a person, please call the South Carolina Department on Aging at 1-800-868-9095 or contact your local Area Agency on Aging.
SC Freedom of Information Act
The South Carolina Department on Aging (SCDOA) is committed to transparency and complies with all requirements of the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act. To submit a FOIA request, fill out the South Carolina FOIA request form and email it to foia@aging.sc.gov.
I hope this can help anyone looking for information on Aging in South Carolina. Andrew Arnold, Attorney at Law, Greenville SC
